Customizing the Portal

Branding

Go to Settings → Portal to customize:

Custom Domain

Default Subdomain (Free)

All plans include:

https://your-company.promoteboost.com

Custom Domain (Pro Plan)

Use your own domain:

https://partners.yourcompany.com

Setup:

1. Add a CNAME record in your DNS:

   partners.yourcompany.com → portal.promoteboost.com

2. Wait for DNS propagation (up to 48 hours)

3. Go to Settings → Portal → Custom Domain

4. Enter your domain

5. Click Verify

White-Label (Pro Plan)

Remove all PromoteBoost branding:

• No "Powered by PromoteBoost" footer

• No PromoteBoost logo

• Fully your brand

Enable in Settings → Portal → Hide Branding.

Affiliate Signup

Public Signup

Anyone can sign up via your portal link.

Invite-Only

Disable public signup and invite affiliates manually:

1. Go to Affiliates → Invite

2. Enter email address

3. Affiliate receives invitation email

4. They complete registration

Require Approval

Enable approval in campaign settings:

1. Affiliate signs up

2. Status is "Pending"

3. You receive notification

4. Approve or reject in dashboard

5. Affiliate is notified

Two-Tier / Sub-Affiliates

If enabled, affiliates can recruit other affiliates:

• Get a recruitment link

• Earn percentage of sub-affiliate commissions

• View their network in the portal

Enable in Campaigns → Settings → Two-Tier.

Affiliate Notifications

Affiliates can receive emails for:

Event	Description
New conversion	When they make a sale
Commission approved	When pending becomes approved
Payout sent	When they're paid

Configure defaults in Settings → Notifications.
